Am sad to say that the Airtel Social plan i published yesterday that was capped at 10gb, 20gb, and so called Unlimited for 100, 200 and 300Naira respectively has been reduced now to 100mb, 200mb and 1gb.
As a matter of fact, Some people that had already subbed for it also had theirs reduced to the aforementioned data while some lucky ones were not affected or should i say not yet affected, you can confirm this by checking your data balance with *140#
So have it at the back of your mind that the Social plans are now sold as;
* 100mb for 100Naira
* 200mb for 200Naira
* 1gb for 300Naira
These Plans validity period still remains unchanged for now,
Also take note that this plan still works only on social apps like Facebook, Whatsapp etc as well as Opera mini.
Am still working towards a way to enable us use it on other browsers and i believe it would be out soon on this blog.
What do you think propelled Airtel to make this drastic move?
Now do you still prefer this plan to Airtels 2G plan?
