An Android 7.1.1 Nougat is now available for Nokia 6 smartphones from it's pre-installed V7.0. You can now download the update and install it on your device.
For those of us who may not have known about the Nokia 6 device, it is one of the devices launched at this year's MWC event, Nokia didn't go easy on this device rather they made sure it had that exciting specification that would catch your eye such as it's 4gb Ram capacity, 5.5inches display, 4G LTE support and a lasting 3000mAh battery.
This update to Android 7.1.1 is one thing most of us believed Nokia would surely do and they didn't fail us.
The update is just about 370MB in size, this update comes with everything the V7.1.1 has to offer and also with the latest security patch for the device.

How To Download And Install the Update
You can download the update right from your device over the air (OTA) by following the steps;
• Go to "Phone Settings"
• Scroll down to "About Phone" and click
• Click on "System Updates"
• Refresh and you would see the update
• Follow the prompts to download
• Your device would reboot once the installation is complete.
Note;
Make sure you have enough battery power before installing the update to avoid bricking your device if the update fails to install successfully because of low battery.
It is advisable to put it on charge or have battery power above 60%.
