This is good news for all google adsense publishers as they are now allowed to use the revenue providing 300x250 ad units above the fold of their website mobile pages, this was announced by the ad network themselves.
Before now publishers were prohibited from using the 300x250 ad above the fold on a mobile web page as it was said to affect the view of the page hereby making it not user-friendly.
The good news is that this restriction has been lifted and the mobile ad unit size can now be placed above the for increase in revenue without fear of ban due to violation of policy.

We recognize the frustration around limitations we’ve placed on this sized unit on mobile webpages, and starting May 2, 2017 we will no longer disallow this ad unit from being placed above the fold on mobile web pages. After careful review, we've determined that when 300x250 ads are implemented above the fold in a user-friendly way, the ads do not annoy, distract, or result in ad performance issues.You can now go ahead and implement the ad unit on your site, blog or whatever web page you have that is google adsense approved and check it out after a week or so to know if it has increased your earnings or not.
