How To Borrow Data From Glo NG (Glo Borrow Me Data)

To borrow data from Glo Nigeria dial *321# on your Glo line and select from the available options, the available options should be listed as below:

* 30MB

* 60MB

* 200MB

* 1.6GB

* 3.2GB

The Glo data borrowing service is called "Glo Borrow Me Data" and the amount of data you can borrow depends on how long you've been using your line and the amount of airtime recharges you make.

How To Borrow Data From MTN Nigeria

To borrow data on MTN Nigeria dial *606#, this is also the code to borrow airtime on your line but you should select the Xtrabyte option rather than Xtratime, you would be faced with options of data volumes you can borrow, make your choice and if you're eligible the data value would be credited to your line.

The MTN Xtrabyte data options are as follows in terms of data allowance, price and validity:

* 10MB - N55 - 24hrs

* 30MB - N110 - 24hrs

* 100MB -N220 - 24hrs

* 200MB - N330 - 48hrs

* 750MB - N550 - 7days

How To Borrow Data From Airtel NG

Airtel is yet to provide subscribers with a data borrowing service even though their airtime loan service has been up and running for years now. However, you can still browse the internet when your line is low on subscription by borrowing airtime and using it to browse directly or buy a data plan with it, see how to borrow airtime from airtel here.

Update - 09/2019: You can now borrow data from Airtel Nigeria by dialing *500# and select from the data bundle options that are available to borrow on your line.

You can also purchase a cheaper airtel night data plan, it would serve the same purpose as a normal data plan, though its downside remains that it can only be used at night.

How To Borrow Data From Etisalat (EasyCredit)

Etisalat Easy Credit is a service that allows you borrow airtime from Etisalat and use it for calls, purchase data plans or send messages, just like Airtel, Etisalat hasn't introduced its data borrowing service thereby you would have to borrow airtime on your and use it to subscribe to a data bundle.
