How To Root Infinix Note 3 Upgraded To Android 7.0 Nougat

You can root Infinix Note 3 (X601) running on Android 7.0 version by following these simple steps am about to share with you, if you upgraded your Infinix note 3 to android 7.0 nougat then you must have found out that it is not yet possible to root with an app rather you can only root the phone via a custom recovery and that is what am gonna walk you through now.

We all know rooting grants and enables us get full access to system files on our android devices, however android 6.0 marshmallow and 7.0 nougat happens to be the toughest versions of android to root, this has made many people reluctant on upgrading their phones when an update is released.

Now we are going to take a look at a very simple procedure you should follow to get root access on your Infinix Note 3 android smartphone, this process was made available by hovatek and it is the only work method to root android 7.0 phones though the procedure below works only on Infinix note 3.

Click here to download and install VCOM Drivers on your PC.
✓ Download SuperSU 2.79 zip file for your phone here.
✓ Download Philz Touch Recovery for Infinix Note 3 (X601) here.

Procedure:

1. Install the VCOM drivers you downloaded on your PC
2. Copy the SuperSU.zip file to the internal storage of your phone and also to the external SD card.
3. Flash the Philz recovery.img file to your phone via PC with SP Flash Tools, you can follow the steps here for guidance.
4. Boot your Infinix Note 3 to recovery mode by holding both your volume up button and your power button.
5. Navigate to "Install Zip" option and select it, locate the folder you saved the SuperSu.zip file on either your SD card or internal memory and click on it.
6. The flashing process would begin, choose No when prompted to fix root.
7. Once the process is complete you can reboot your phone and confirm it's root status with any root checker application on Playstore.

I believe that wasn't hard to understand though it doesn't sound too good to those whom do not have a personal computer to install the Philz recovery on their phone.
